SJP.MW01 Minniwatha On30 streamliner
An On30 interpretation of the Milwaukee Road's Hiawatha streamliner that fits the standard Bachmann On30 "train set" 2-6-0. There was never a narrow gauge or 2-6-0 Hiawatha, but there was a standard gauge 4-6-0 Hiawatha and his is loosely based on that. This consists of a locomotive body shell with a sperate backhead and a shell for the tender. After removing the original cab, boiler and pilot the loco shell mounts under the rear mounting lug and through the original pilot mounting hole with a 2-56 screw, an M2 self-tapping screw or the equivalent. For the tender just remove the body and air tank and put on the new shell with the original screws. Be sure to choose the correct version of the tender shell, Gen1 for the earlier non-DCC versions and Gen2 for the later DCC ready versions.
There is also a combine (SJP.MW02), a coach (SJP.MW03) and an observation car (SJP.MW04) to go with this.
NOTE; like all SJP models, the fit between all the parts is tight. It is easier to sand something to fit that try to add material to make up for a loose fit.
