Pacific Coast Railway Combine 301 (N scale)
$11.00
Pacific Coast Railway Combine 301 (N scale)
Built by Carter Brothers in 1882 as coach #103 and re-built as a combination car in 1893.
The PCRy’s early roster of passenger cars were destroyed in an 1892 fire, except car 104, built by Kimball, which survived the fire. After that fire, new cars were ordered and some of the surviving cars were re-built. This model is based on drawings of these post-fire cars by Curt Johnson in the book The Pacific Coast Railway: Central California’s Premiere Narrow Gauge, Johnson & Westcott, Benchmark Publications.
