Duluth, Missabe & Iron Range Family U-4/D-4 22' Ore Cars

The Duluth and Iron Range and the Duluth, Missabe and Northern Railways, while under common ownership of U.S. Steel Corp., purchased 3,600 identical steel ore cars from Pressed Steel Car Company between 1905 and 1907. These cars ran until the 1950s in revenue service and into the 1970s in MOW service. Some were sold off to the Duluth, South Shore and Atlantic and the Rock Island railroads.
Our kits are 3D printed in Formlabs resin and feature a one-piece body with separately applied details parts, trucks, decals, instructions and documentation.
