Philadelphia & Reading RR Coal Wagon (Jimmy) 1840's Era
$8.00
This model represents an early form of the ubiquitous coal "jimmy" a small four wheeled car with a drop bottom for unloading coal. The prototype for this model ran on the Philadelphia & Reading RR, but many coal roads used near identical designs. This model is intended to use 36" HO scale wheels which conform to NMRA standards, with a 26.6mm pinpoint axle. It can also take Alan Gibson 10.5mm spoked wheels.
