Introduced during the early 1870s, this classic truck saw use nationwide. While structurally similar to the popular wood-beam trucks of the time, this truck was largely cast-iron in construction and saw use into the late 1890s. The design of the prototype required us to design the brake shoes as a separate piece. Install the wheels first, then secure the brake shoes in place using a small amount of ACC. They fit easily in place underneath the bolsters. Most cars in this era only had brake shoes on the truck on the "B" end.
