The Merchants Despatch Transportation Company operated one of the largest and most visually striking fleets of refrigerator cars in the U.S. Beginning in 1882, they began buying the famous "Wickes" patent refrigerator car in sizeable numbers. These cars saw multiple rebuilds and lasted until 1922. Decal set A covers the 1882-1910 paint schemes. Decal set B covers 1911 to 1922 paint scheme.
